Magnify Thy word

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
 
Our heart’s desire at Lafayette Bible Baptist Church is to magnify the Word of God. What does it mean to magnify His Word? It starts with hearing and knowing it, moves to loving and obeying it, and is performed in preaching and teaching it. In a world that is often bereft of Bible knowledge and obedience, our prayer is found in Psalms 119:35 “Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.”
