Colossians 4:2-3 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Whithal prying also for us, the God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
Today we say farewell and bid God speed to one of our own. Next week, Priya Abraham will be headed to Kenya. She will spend the first few months in language school learning Swahili. After language school she plans to move to western Kenya to start a dental clinic our of an established hospital. Her desire is not only to be a physical help by way of providing dental care to Kenyans, but also “that God would open ..a door of utterance to speak the mystery of Christ” to Kenyans. We will deeply miss Priya, but we are excited to see what God has in store for her.
As we send away a servant, let us not fail to send our supplications. Please pray for Priya’s protection, her health (both physical and spiritual), her guidance, and her witness. She desires for God to use her. As the church in Colosse prayed and continued in prayer for Paul, please pray and continue in prayer for Priya.
