2 Thessalonians 3:3 but the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.

When was the last time you asked the Lord to keep you from evil? The Holy Spirit directed Paul to remind the Thessalonians that the Lord…keep you from evil. This is not an isolated idea in Scripture. Jesus taught his disciples to pray to the Father asking Him to deliver them from evil. Evil is anything that will keep you from doing the things that we are commanded to do in the Scripture. It seems that I am in a daily battle with evil, but I am not alone in my fight against evil in my life. “BUT THE LORD IS FAITHFUL”. How wonderful it is to know that His is faithful to establish and strengthen me. I write this to encourage each of our members to spend time with the Lord in prayer this week asking Him to keep you from evil.
